GET READY FOR PRIDE 2024 WITH US

Pride Month 2019 Is Here and Queerer Than Ever

Our favorite time of the year is finally here – it's Pride month, gaybies!!

This year happens to mark the 50th anniversary of The Stonewall Riots. The Stonewall riots were a series of spontaneous, violent demonstrations by members of the gay community against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City.

This year also happens to be the first World Pride in the US, and it's happening in the very place that the first pride happened – New York City. Watch this and get pumped:

Here are some of the NYC events we hope to hit up (you should too!)

  1. The kick off to the month-long celebration of Pride and the first WorldPride in the U.S!

  2. Walk through LBGT history as you explore the streets of Greenwich Village in Manhattan. Our two-hour itinerary takes you from the 60s to the present day.

  3. NYC Pride's GameChangers, in partnership with GLAAD and SVA Theatre, is a thrilling event that focuses on leaders of the LGBTQIA+ community and how they have ultimately changed the game in the entertainment industry.

  4. onor and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising

  5. Shout it from the rooftops at the hottest party of the year.
